I was just watching heroes....great show!!!...I saw your name and the bells went crazy...I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and my wife and I volunteer locally to help restore old almost forgotten cemeteries...In the spring of 2006 we went to record a cemetery that had some kin of the wife's buried in it...We found the cemetery was now a bare hill, knowing we were in the right place we began digging...we uncovered headstones from the 1800's...one of these was a Civil War Soldier named Elijah Beeman...Come to find out Elijah was one of those rare and amazing finds...We found out that several of Elijah's letters sent home during the Civil War are still preserved and in a Virginia History Library...I have a web page on this that you can view at http://www.paintanddentwerks.com/Whitacre/index.htm

If you look at the site you will see that this cemetery and its occupants were all but forgotten...As a genealogist I take these forgotten folks seriously...probably too seriously, but someone's got to do it...I like to try to find kin to the forgotten so I can "return these folks to their families"...So my question for you is: Whats your Beeman line?...if you could tell me maybe great grandparents names I would be glad to research the Family tree for you and I am sure the info I find for you will at least be some neat to know stuff...I dont and wont charge anything for my services...I just enjoy doing this stuff and I find amazing stories everyday...And this one's for Elijah...maybe you'll end up being related...I have followed Elijah's tree back to the 1600's in Connecticut...and coming back down the tree I have found this particular line travels across the upper states to Oregon and California area...So who knows Elijah might be a Great Uncle of yours...please email me at eltwentyfouro@hotmail.com and let me know what you think of all this...Thanks for your time....
